Foracort 200 Inhaler is a combination drug made by Cipla Ltd that contains 200 mcg of Budesonide and 6 mcg of Formoterol. It is mostly used to manage asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Budesonide is a corticosteroid that decreases inflammation in the airways, whilst Formoterol is a long-acting bronchodilator that relaxes the muscles surrounding the airways, making breathing easier. This inhaler helps to avoid asthma attacks and treat persistent respiratory difficulties.
Common side effects include headaches, sore throats, hoarseness, upper respiratory tract infections, and oral fungal infections. To reduce the risk of oral thrush, rinse your mouth after each usage.
